Challenges

- Each of 7 floors featured different apartment configurations, which required close monitoring and coordination with architects to address design changes effectively, especially Drainage piping. - Ensuring all data was COBie compliant proved to be complex and time-intensive. - Space constraints, particularly in the garage ceiling areas and between larger systems such as smoke extract, led to frequent clashes that needed prompt resolution

Solutions

- Conducted frequent coordination meetings with architects to address drainage challenges and align models with evolving layouts. - Populated and regularly validated COBie data in the models, ensuring all information met Client’s standards. - Worked closely with the Project Information Manager and utilised Navisworks Manage to identify and resolve clashes in constrained spaces, prioritising the garage, apartments & main corridor areas, as well as larger systems such as Smoke Extract & Ventilation ducts, - Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and efficient solutions.
